I was born in Philadelphia in 1962. My parents moved to Maryland in 1964, to the Grosvenor Apartments in Rockville. We lived in several areas over the years including Bel Pre Apartments where I attended Strathmore Elementry when it opened. We later moved to Derwood, as one of the first owners in the then new Horizon Townhomes. I attended Mill Creek Town Elementry School. I was hit by a car at the age of 10 at the intersection of Redland and Muncaster. I also attended Redland Middle and graduated from Col. Zadok Magruder High School in 1980. I enlisted in the Navy and served 5 years from January 1981 through January 1986.

I was honorably discharged having attained the rank of Data Processing Technition 2nd Class (DP2). At that time I sold cars for about 1.5 years both at Glenmont Chrysler Plymouth and later at Herb Gordon Dodge. I was fortunate to be able to return to the IT world where I spent a majority of my time as a Applications Programmer. In January of 2002 I was let go by MCI/Worldcom, in what we all later discovered was because Bernie Ebbers and his entourage bilked the company of over 4 billion dollars. After being out of work for close to 7 months, and losing my home, I was offered an opportunity to work for Fitzgerald Lakeforst Toyota as a sales associate.

I have been with Fitzgerald's ever since. My 20 years of computer skills was a perfect fit with their internet sales department. I am what many of my customers consider "atypical" for a sales person. A combination of how Fitzgerald's does business and my years of working with clients on both sides of applications allows me to be an advocate, an advisor, and just a nice guy.

Personally, I met my wife to be (Susan) in 1986 while working at Glenmont C/P. We were married in 1993, already parents of two girls between ourselves plus her two girls I "adopted." Sadly, Susan passed away March of 2008. She was a cancer (Hodgkins) survivor when I met her. In the 1990's we discovered she had Hepatitus 'C' Virus (HCV) which she apparently contracted in 1990 while receiving blood for cancer treatments. One of my daughters also has HCV which is believed to be from birth. Susan also suffered from Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, Diabetes and a few other diseases and ailments. I have 5 grandchildren, from my two stepdaughters. My youngest is still at home, her sister was married in 2007 and lives near Baltimore.
